This is SUCH a better value than the Ember mug - no, you don't get an app to control it but let's be honest. Why do you need an app to monitor your coffee temperature? This works great to keep your coffee hot and stays charged when attached to the base. Easy to clean and change the temperature as you need to. Just be careful with the lid - it doesn't really stay sealed and would fall off just tipping it sideways. It's more decorative and helps with heating than it is a seal for the mug.

This mug is great! I spend most my day drinking my coffee cold because I never get to it. Using this cup has changed all of that. It warms the liquid inside to the temperature that you set and then it holds it at that temperature. It's very nice to drink out of. The materials used are very strong and durable. This is built to last. It's a really pretty gold color inside. The outside is a nice bold black color. This would make a really awesome gift to give someone. The price value for the product quality is excellent.

This insulated, heated coffee mug is a great idea. It definitely keeps my coffee hot on days when I can take my time in the morning. It works better than a heating plate by itself, and better than a good thermos, too.So the selling points are the temperature indicator display and the rechargeable battery within the mug itself. I can set the temperature between 120° F and 150°F. It seems like the default is at 130° F.When fully charged, the battery lasts long enough to get me to my last drop of coffee. I don’t typically drink more than a cup a day, but it does usually cool down quite a bit before I’m finished when using a regular ceramic mug.The less convenient aspects are that the battery needs to be recharged after each use, preferably overnight; it’s not a fast recharge in my opinion. When it’s on the charger but not in use, the battery still discharges more quickly than I thought it would, so I just keep it on the charger when not in use, even on the same day.Also, the lid is not at all secured, and the mug is too large for car cup holders. I gave it a try in the car with the lid on and had a spill after a hard brake. That was not cool at all.So if I’m at a table or a desk, especially where there is an outlet within reach, my coffee will definitely stay at the temperature of my choice for the entire cup, which honestly feels quite luxurious. It’s not a good road solution, though.

It takes me all morning to sip on my cup of coffee, i reheat it in the microwave like 3 times throughout the morning and half the time i forget it in the microwave for like an hour then i'll remember it and have to reheat it again. This cup is exactly what i needed in my life. Because i can have a sip of warm coffee even if i only remember it every 30 minutes i started being able to have 2 cups in the morning so this cup is a good size for me. My new favorite mug, hands down! First of all, this thing is just classy-looking with such clean lines. And the weight of the mug and the little details, from the color to the lid, are perfect. This is very easy to use. Hold the power button for a few seconds, and you will see the temperature that it's currently set at. If you do not adjust it, it will start to heat up, and it heats up quickly! Don't try to touch the inside to test the temp; it is what it says it is. I used an infrared thermometer on it to test the temp. I can't tell you how long the battery lasts since I just charge it use. I am trying to be very careful when cleaning it because the instructions tell you not to submerge it in water. I love that the mug is the heater by itself and you don't need something extra. That means take it with you! Just charge when needed.

Care must be taken to not accidentally turn it on wen it is empty. Holding or carrying it where the on switch is can turn it on accidentally.Also it is an electronic device contained in a cup, so immersing it in water must not happen. Just wash and rinse the titanium inner cup, then tinse carefully and wipe the bottom dry.The titanium inner cup is the perfect non-leaching material for a coffee cup. The acidity of coffee will never harm or change it.BOTTOM LINE: This cup is a timely blessing that I absolutely love!

So far so good my only issue is where the power button is. I think it would be better if it were just a bit higher because if I have it to close by my lap it turns off.
